I am tired of living by other people's schedules and whims.
My mother saw when I was six that I was in danger of becoming one of those passive people who submits to the will of others in order to keep everyone happy, and so she wrote me a letter (meant for me to read at 17) telling me not to shy away from doing what I want to do sometimes. Unfortunately, I only just read the letter last summer...
