Dear God or whatever,
Please help me find a job for the summer so I can eat and help with rent.
Please help me cope until I have a home again.
Please help me project infectious optimism.
Please help me give other people enough credit.
Please help me live on 30 dollars until next Monday, and on 10 dollars a day after that.
Please help me find patience. Lots and lots of patience. And the ability to live nowhere on nothing.
Please allow me to feel like life has a direction, even if it doesn't.
Please help me not to feel like tomorrow is always the day I'm waiting for and never the day that arrives.
Mostly, please help me help the ones I love with generosity and--again--patience.

I am very much enjoying your new blogging style...and feeling inspired. You always do that for me...
Remember, home is where you make it...plant seeds in pots, visit farmers markets, walk, listen, sketch over coffee, Grasp today for what it is. Don't wait until tomorrow, for then you will always be waiting. Finally, loving someone is the most generous gift of grace.
Beautifully put...you've made me feel better about today :).
Thanks for the comment! I completely agree with Leigh above...
Just hang on... you would be proud of yourself that you did :-)
